[ENG] Instrepere is the starting point for a set of solo pieces that have the purpose to obtain an instrument resonate in a specific way or to search a kind of material that has not been yet explored, with more or less exhaustion, in my music.

Instrepere II has the voice as its conducting wire, unique and delicate instrument, that exploits a less conventional writing and looks for a linear direction, without losing intensity and, allow me, without losing lyricism.

There is no other way to perform this piece than the one based on total freedom of movements and that project all the vocal energy to change the magnetism into an attribute adequate to the performance of this music.

The non-text should contribute to that desired freedom, without losing sight that we are operating on phonemes that are directly linked to Portuguese language and which we usually treat less consciously.
